The work consists of doubling the roadway (asphalt pavement) of National Route 11 between kilometers 1,119.50 and 1,140.00 and is being carried out in a rural environment.
The route, in this section, crosses three important watercourses: Riacho Mbigua, Arroyo Lindo and Arroyo Saladillo, so new bridges have been designed in correspondence with the existing ones in the projected roadway.
In addition, the construction of four turnarounds is foreseen, in order to allow traffic access to local roads and private entrances located on the roadway in the opposite direction of traffic, or to change direction in the event of a possible error.
As complementary works, the construction of gravel collector roads, lighting at the return roads, bus docks and shelters for waiting buses, vertical and horizontal signaling, relocation of interferences, placement of vehicular defenses, transversal and longitudinal sewage system, various accesses, among others, are foreseen as complementary works.
