Flood channeling

The Los Pioneros canal collects an important basin (440 hectares), and receives contributions from two different sectors. On the one hand, from the north and northwest, an area in an advanced state of current urban development, and, from the south and southwest, through a series of canals located in the wetlands area, which slowly cross Alicia Moreau de Justo Avenue and reach the current "Los Pioneros" canal along 16 de Julio Street.

In this first stage, the construction of the main collector along Los Pioneros Street is proposed, in order to organize runoff in this area of incipient urban development and minimize the risk of rainwater flooding.
