A strengthened locality

The work has a length of 15.60 km and consists of the execution of the basic works and the construction of flexible pavement on Provincial Routes Nº1 and Nº3, which link the town of General Vedia with Puerto Bermejo. 

With the paving of this section, continuity is given to the route of Provincial Route No. 1 already executed, from the junction with Provincial Route No. 56 to the city of General Vedia, allowing to reach the town of Puerto Bermejo with a paved road, thus becoming a work of vital importance to strengthen the development of the Department of Bermejo.

The project axis is centered on the existing road and, in general terms, the development of the new roadway coincides with the existing layout, except for the first 2 km, which is developed along a new route.

- Hydraulic adaptationThe following are planned: 5 new culverts, the extension of an existing culvert and the cleaning and unloading of the remaining ones. It is also necessary to build two new concrete bridges over the Canguí Chico and Canguí Grande rivers to replace the existing hardwood bridges.

- Urban pavement in the town of "Puerto Bermejo".The work contemplates the execution of about 1,250 m of urban pavement within the locality with avenue type profile.
