Optimization of Drinking Water Supply and Distribution System

The project consisted of the execution of different works:

- New raw water intake

- Viaducts and aqueducts

- New water treatment plant

- Treated water aqueduct

- Distribution systems

The increase in drinking water production due to the construction of a new water treatment plant and intake works, together with the configuration of new distribution centers, guarantee the efficient and continuous supply of water to the city of Clorinda, Formosa.

 

This project covers the demand required for the current and projected population over a period of 20 years, so that the design horizon of the project is foreseen until 2037, with a benefited population of 64,900 inhabitants.
