Sanitation of the Morón Creek Watershed

  • Completion: -
  • Location: Morón, Buenos Aires (Argentina)
  • Client: DI.P.O.H- Buenos Aires

The purpose of this project is to solve the flooding problems caused by a significant concentration of excess water in the Castelar and Morón Centro areas, fully urbanized sectors located in the middle basin of the Morón River.

This will prevent flooding and benefit more than 20,000 residents. This development transformed this sector of the city, which often suffered from flooding, and made it possible to continue with social, cultural, sports, and economic activities without any inconvenience.

The construction of the work is completed with drains for paved streets, inspection chambers for rectangular conduits, junction chambers, reconstruction of pavements, resolution of interferences, among others.
