It is the first plant in the region with these characteristics, and its objective is to take care of the environment, emphasizing sustainable development, using natural gas for the operation of the entire plant, including the boiler and burners, thus reducing emissions into the environment by 26% and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions established by the Kyoto Protocol, to which Argentina is a signatory.
The furnace burner is prepared to work with natural gas and the asphalt production capacity is 70 tons per hour. Using a sustainable model and emphasizing environmental protection, this plant has a dry way fines recuperator, which consists of a screen located near the kiln outlet, where the fraction of fines in suspension is captured and conveyed to a lateral auger that, by means of its drive, reincorporates it to the aggregate inlet. In other words, the principle of the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) of materials is applied, thus initiating the circular economy processes.
